A two-day Paramaribo rhythm from Palacio: historic centre on foot, breakfast if your rate includes it, Central Market, Waterkant, and an easy nature or river trip on day two.

Start around Palacio: Heerenstraat, the cathedral area, Waterkant, Fort Zeelandia, and nearby streets that show the old city pattern.

Use the next layer for food and daily life: Central Market, roti, saoto, fruit, coffee, river views, and conversations with people who know the city.

If time allows, add Peperpot or Commewijne for nature, plantation history, river context, and a quieter look at the land around Paramaribo.
